Dragon Sky

An original acrylic painting of two dragons flying over a mountain landscape and moonlit lake, inspired by the feeling of reading fantasy stories and imagining what it would be like to see dragons soaring through the sky.

Dragon Sky was loosely inspired by reading the Fourth Wing series and the scenes of dragon riders flying high above the mountains. Painted entirely in shades of black, grey and white, the textured mountains and moonlit landscape create a dramatic setting for the two dragons in flight.

Pearlescent details have been added to parts of the painting, catching the light at different angles and bringing subtle changes and movement to the artwork as you view it.
